Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Uppercutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uppercutt comes to the cage accompanied by You can't stop me now. Lidell has chosen the time is now as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Uppercutt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Lidell!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidell throws a right and a left that Uppercutt avoids nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lidell is defended easily by Uppercutt.
Lidell shoots in looking for a takedown. Uppercutt tries to sprawl out of it but Lidell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uppercutt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Uppercutt leaves Lidell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lance Uppercutt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Lidell.
Lidell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lidell looks for a takedown but Uppercutt sprawls well.

Uppercutt pushes Lidell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lidell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lidell misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Uppercutt is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lidell is controlling him well.

Lidell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lidell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lidell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Lidell hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
