Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladamir Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Id Hate To Be You Right Now. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage connects with a jab.
Drago throws a leg kick

and Rampage counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Drago is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rampage throws and elbow that misses. Drago uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rampage's guard. Nice move by Drago!
Drago stopping the sweep attempt from Rampage.
Rampage working a defensive guard but Drago manages to pass into side control anyway.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drago thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Drago decides to stand back up. Drago steps back and let's Rampage get back to his feet.

Rampage stalks Drago and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Drago's face. Drago staggers backwards, shaken.

Drago drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Drago stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Drago tries to clinch but Rampage moves out of range.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rampage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drago dodges the punch combination from Rampage.
Rampage misses with the combination.
Rampage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Drago slips a jab and a cross from Rampage.

Rampage gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Drago to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Drago works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Drago thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Drago escapes and gets back to his feet.

Drago clinches up with Rampage and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drago slowing the pace effectively.

Drago has clasped his hands together around Rampage's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Rampage counters with a left and a right that stings Drago.
Rampage shoots in for a double leg but Drago sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rampage tries to clinch there but Drago circles away.
Drago wants to clinch but Rampage slips to the side
and Rampage counters with a two punch combo.

Rampage throws a strike but Drago avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Drago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rampage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Drago is tightening it up a little... Rampage has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rampage reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rampage taps out! nice BJJ there by Drago!
