Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyn Karinzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jyn Karinzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jyn Karinzo!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses the body punch
and Karinzo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jackson misses with a hook. Karinzo ducked under it nicely.
Karinzo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Jyn Karinzo has been cut.
Karinzo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Karinzo is out of range.
Karinzo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
Karinzo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karinzo scrambles back to his feet.

and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Karinzo thinking.
Karinzo moves out of range of the strikes.
Jackson throws a poor cross that misses
letting Karinzo counter with a right hand.

Ben Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Karinzo lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Karinzo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jackson and Karinzo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Karinzo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Karinzo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Karinzo's body position as best he can.

Jackson tries to lock up and control but Karinzo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Karinzo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jackson is now in Karinzo's guard. A big mistake from Karinzo there, giving up the dominant position!
Karinzo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Karinzo pushes his legs off easily.
Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Karinzo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Karinzo, into his guard.
Karinzo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jyn Karinzo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Karinzo fails to land the takedown.
Jackson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Karinzo in his tracks.

and Karinzo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard.

Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karinzo is one step ahead there.

Karinzo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jackson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Karinzo has passed into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karinzo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
Karinzo is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jackson dodges the ground and pound from Karinzo.
Jackson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Karinzo's best efforts.

Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Karinzo's attempts to control the action.

Karinzo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jackson turns into him and now he's in Karinzo's guard.

Karinzo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.

Karinzo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Karinzo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
