The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cordeiro closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Farnsworth to the mat! Farnsworth manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cordeiro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Farnsworth is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cordeiro, into his guard.

Cordeiro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Farnsworth decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cordeiro, up you get!
Cordeiro moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cordeiro jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cordeiro misses with a takedown
and Farnsworth connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circle momentarily. Farnsworth darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tiago Cordeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farnsworth cracks Cordeiro's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Cordeiro slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Farnsworth can do further damage! This one is done, son!
