Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Truth Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A bone on bone clash there as Peters blocks the leg kick.
Peters swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Peters avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch. Truth Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee tries to clinch up but Peters circles away and keeps his distance. Lee tries to clinch but Peters moves out of range. Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Peters moves out of range easily. Lee misses with a low kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee throws a head kick but Peters moves out of range.
Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lee scores with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peters throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease. Peters misses with a wild body shot. Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee is breathing heavily. Peters gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Peters tries to break the clinch but Lee is controlling the position. Lee tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Lee lands a damaging elbow. Lee pushes off an throws an elbow but Peters leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Lee misses with an elbow strike.
Peters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Good shot there by Peters. Lee closes the distance looking to clinch and Peters counters with a stiff right hand. Lee moves out of range as Peters throws a body kick.
Peters misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee throws a lazy head kick and Peters counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Peters prevents Lee from standing back up.
Peters seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt. Peters works his way into full mount! Peters has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lee's face.
Peters landing strikes from the mount. Lee wants to hold on but Peters pushes him away. Lee is trying to stand. Peters lands a heavy elbow. Lee flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Peters tries to control but Lee wriggling away. Peters has control of Lee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape. Lee has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Lee is trying to get back to his feet but Peters has full control of the position and if anything, Lee has just worked his way into a worse spot. Peters punishes Lee with strikes from the back mount. Lee has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Peters has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Will Peters go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Peters is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lee for a finish. Peters not allowing Lee to control his hands. Peters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lee is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Peters gets his way!
Peters throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pain Peters dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lee lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Lee checks a leg kick. Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lee wants to clinch and Peters counters with a nice body shot. Danga de danga de dang - Peters scores with a four punch combination! Lee closes the distance but Peters moves to the side and Peters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that. Peters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Peters tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well. Peters wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Peters looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lee is avoiding damage well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is not content to let Peters control the position. Peters wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well. Peters tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Peters has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lee! Poor strikes thrown by Peters there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Peters tries to control but Lee wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peters thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Peters wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely. Peters lands with some strikes.

Peters manages to hold on to the position though. Lee regains half guard. Peters wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee pushes Peters off looking to stand but Peters dives back in and keeps control.

Peters wants to take a breather but Lee is having none of it. Peters passes the guard and advances to mount! Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Pain Peters has got the better of the ground game so far. Peters moves to the back. A lull in the action here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Pain Peters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Peters darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is refusing to be controlled, as Peters sits in half guard. Peters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Peters eventually gives up the hold. Peters wants to pass the guard but Lee is defending well. Lee wants to control the action here but instead Peters manages to pass to full mount! Peters avoids the attempt from Lee to control. Peters wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely. Lee is trying to stand. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is desperately trying to improve his position but Peters has a good base and remains in mount. Peters jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee lands a head kick!

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Peters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Peters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side. Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Peters counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lee is looking to stand up but Peters isn't so interested in that idea. Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lee kicks Peters off and gets to his feet. Peters circles away from the clinch attempt and Peters counters with a takedown into side control. Lee pushes Peters away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Peters gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee sneaks back into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee tries to kick Peters off but Peters keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lee slips a straight right by Peters. Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Peters keeps the fight on the outside. Lee knocks Peters to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Peters is rocked! Lee decides to stand back up. Peters is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him? Peters avoids the head kick by Lee.

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee is looking for a triangle but Peters pushes his legs off easily.

Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Peters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pain Peters. I've got Peters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
