The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres gets tackled into the cage by McBarley. McBarley maintains the clinch.
McBarley lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
McBarley lands a right hand.
Torres trying to land knees to the body.
Torres has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McBarley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Torres drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Torres wants a takedown.
Sheamus McBarley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Torres.
Torres goes for a takedown attempt but McBarley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McBarley tries to clinch but Torres is having none of it.
McBarley looks to land a combination but Torres avoids it well.
Torres throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Sheamus McBarley has been cut.
McBarley is looking to clinch.
McBarley fails in his attempt to clinch.
McBarley wants to clinch up but Torres keeps it at a distance.
Torres misses with a series of wild punches.
Sheamus McBarley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McBarley tries to clinch there but Torres circles away.

McBarley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McBarley lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Torres is looking to break free of the clinch but McBarley has double underhooks.
A head punch on the inside from Torres fails to land.
Torres blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
McBarley lands a hook that snaps the head of Torres backwards.
McBarley misses with the head strike.
McBarley lands a left hand.
McBarley scores with a shot to the side of Torres's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McBarley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Torres drops down looking for an ankle pick but McBarley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Torres looks gassed!
McBarley ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Torres's jaw. Torres's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McBarley does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
