The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton throws out a loose jab but Dempsey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dempsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Compton misses with a jab to the body
and Compton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dempsey avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Compton motions for Dempsey to come forward. Compton throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dempsey looks to land a combination but Compton avoids it well.
Dempsey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Compton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Compton swings widly with a right hand
and Dempsey counters with a two punch combo.
Compton throws a right hand that misses
and Dempsey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dempsey. Compton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Compton misses with an uppercut
and Compton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Compton is rocked!
Dempsey checks a low kick from Compton.
Compton is still on wobbly legs! Can Dempsey finish him?
Dempsey drops Compton with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Compton! Dempsey dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
