Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tuomas Uusierkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Almer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uusierkki comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy) . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Almer. That's going to slow Uusierkki down.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Uusierkki is defended easily by Almer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Uusierkki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Almer dives on top into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Almer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Uusierkki to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Almer lands a brutal uppercut that launches Uusierkki off his feet! Uusierkki tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
