Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guzman comes to the cage accompanied by La Cucaracha. Caschera is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Max Caschera has been cut.
Guzman slaps away a takedown attempt from Caschera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Caschera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nice takedown defense from Guzman. No joy for Caschera on that attempt.
Guzman scores with a nice head shot.
Guzman misses with a wild combination.
Caschera walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Guzman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chris Guzman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Caschera.
Guzman throws a looping overhand right but Caschera ducks down to avoid it.
Caschera shoots in looking for a takedown. Guzman tries to sprawl out of it but Caschera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Guzman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Guzman scores with a jab. Caschera acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That has opened up Max Caschera's cut even more.
Guzman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Guzman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Caschera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The cut above Max Caschera's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Caschera has his takedown stuffed
enabling Guzman to counter with a crisp jab.
Guzman lands a jab-cross combination.
Guzman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Caschera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Caschera looks gassed!
Caschera takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Max Caschera's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Caschera is trying desperately to land a takedown but Guzman is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Caschera.
Caschera has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Caschera there as he acknowledges the shot.
Caschera has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Guzman finds it's way round the side to connect with Caschera's head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Caschera's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
