Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Saurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Condit is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by RAWR. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condit falls off balance throwing a combination
and Condit takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Saurus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Condit napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Saurus stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Condit listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Saurus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Condit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Saurus digs a good body shot into Condit's ribs.
Condit thuds a left hand into Saurus's body.

Saurus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Condit sprawls well initially but Saurus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Saurus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Condit is in trouble now - Saurus has advanced to mount!
Saurus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Condit trying desperately to get to his feet.
Saurus lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Condit is in a horrible position here. Saurus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Saurus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Condit is bucking up trying to escape but Saurus cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Saurus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
