Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Second Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is New York. Douglas has chosen Drowning Pool - Step up as his entrance music. Second Boy has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy wants to clinch
and Boy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Douglas throws a right and a left that Boy avoids nicely.
Boy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Douglas scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Boy swings for the body but Douglas moves out of range.
Second Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boy fails with the takedown
letting Douglas counter with a right hand.
Douglas misses with a double jab.
Douglas jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Douglas blocks a head kick by Boy.
Douglas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boy at a distance.
Boy misses with a takedown attempt
and Boy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Douglas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boy takes the fight into the clinch.
Boy misses with an elbow over the top.
Boy wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Second Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Douglas lands a hook that snaps the head of Boy backwards.
Douglas tries to break free but Boy pushes him back against the cage.

Boy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Douglas is trying to keep an underhook but Boy manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Douglas is looking to control Boy but Boy is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Boy just trying to survive but Douglas is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Douglas is hanging on to Boy's back as he tries to escape.
Douglas doesn't have the hooks in and Boy manages to turn into his guard.
Boy advances position into side control!
Douglas is looking to regain half guard here but Boy keeps moving and retains side control.
Boy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Douglas sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy wants to control but Douglas is keeping him busy.
Douglas tries to improve position but can't.
Douglas looks gassed!
Boy working the ground and pound but Douglas is defending the strikes.
Boy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boy has hold of Douglas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Douglas seems comfortable defending it but Boy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Douglas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Douglas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Boy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
