Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Edgar!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick by Edgar misses
and Bell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Edgar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Edgar thows a leg kick but Bell checks it
letting Bell counter with a right hand.
Bell scores with a leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bell.
Bell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bell scores with a nice head shot.
Edgar throws a leg kick that is checked
and Bell counters with a nice uppercut.

and Bell counters with a nice leg kick.
Edgar misses with a head kick.
Edgar tries to clinch
and Bell counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bell instigates a clinch.
Edgar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bell walks away with a smile on his face. Edgar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bell misses with an uppercut. Edgar saw that one coming.
Bell thows a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Edgar shoots and misses
and Edgar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bell leaves Edgar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Joe Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Edgar.
Bell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Edgar.
Bell lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bell cracks a nice hook into Edgar's ribs.

Edgar throws a lazy head kick
enabling Bell to counter with a crisp jab.
Bell scores with a leg kick.
Edgar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Edgar lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bell lands a nice looking kick to the body. Edgar takes a step back to recover.
Bell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Bell's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bell duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edgar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Edgar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bell with a jab.
Bell avoids the head kick by Edgar.
Bell tries to close the distance and clinch but Edgar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Edgar wants to clinch.

Bell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A head kick by Edgar misses
and Bell counters with a leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bell lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Edgar looks gassed!
Edgar closes the distance but Bell moves to the side
and Bell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's six minutes gone in the round.
Bell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Edgar takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bell lands the left hand.
Bell moves into range and clinches up with Edgar.
A short right from Bell on the inside.
Edgar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bell gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bell lands a damaging elbow.
Edgar is rocked!
It looks like Anderson Edgar has been cut.
Bell creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Edgar with a big uppercut! Edgar tries to clinch up but Bell pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Edgar to the mat! Edgar covers up and Bell unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joe Bell!
