Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Riddell!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Durden paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Durden doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Riddell counters by moving into the clinch.
Riddell is looking to control Durden's arms but Durden gets an underhook and turns him. Now Riddell has his back to the cage.
Riddell looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Riddell has hold of one of Durden's legs. Durden is fighting the takedown attempt but Riddell gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Riddell throws a strike but Durden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Durden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riddell on the ground.

Riddell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Durden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Durden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Riddell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durden has managed to get both his arms back between Riddell's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durden tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Durden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Riddell gets back to half guard.

Durden is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Riddell manages to get to full guard.
Riddell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Durden manages to get himself to full guard.

Riddell stands and throws Durden's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Riddell is looking to take a break and control but Durden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Durden can't do much from the bottom here.
Durden parries the strikes from Riddell easily there. Riddell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Durden to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Durden will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Riddell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Riddell manages to end up in side control.

Mike Riddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Riddell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
