Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Crayzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Justus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crayzle comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - Johnny I hardly knew ya. The crowd seem to be enjoying Justus's choice of entrance music: Villain. King Justus is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Crayzle !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, King Justus!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crayzle throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Justus to counter with a crisp jab.
Justus is looking to clinch.
Justus fails with the takedown

and Crayzle counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Justus!


Justus is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Justus is trying to control but Crayzle passes into side control!
Justus is still in real trouble! Can Crayzle finish him?
Justus gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Crayzle is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Justus seems to have recovered his senses.
Justus manages to get to full guard.

Justus working for submissions but it's allowed Crayzle to get to half guard.

Crayzle wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Justus uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Justus is trying to control the position but Crayzle postures up.
Crayzle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Justus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Justus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crayzle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Justus wants to control from the top but Crayzle keeps moving.
Justus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Justus is looking for a kimura but Crayzle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Justus to get the leverage.

Justus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crayzle 's head.
Crayzle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Justus on the ground.

Justus is working for a submission of some sort.
Justus is looking to take a break and control but Crayzle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Crayzle on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Crayzle is not content to let Justus control the position.
Crayzle blocking the ground and pound attempt from Justus.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Justus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crayzle keeps working.
Justus looks to land a strike but Crayzle avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Justus trying to control the position from guard on top but Crayzle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. King Justus was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Justus fails in his attempt to clinch.

Justus moves into range and clinches up with Crayzle .
Justus tries to score a body lock takedown but Crayzle shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jason Crayzle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Justus.
Crayzle tries to break free but Justus pushes him back against the cage.
Justus drops down looking for an ankle pick but Crayzle pulls his leg out and moves away.
Justus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crayzle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Crayzle misses with a looping left.
Justus fails with the takedown
and Crayzle counters with a straight right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Justus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Justus shoots for a double leg takedown but Crayzle sprawls well. He's pushed Justus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crayzle loads up on a big right hand but Justus slips the punch.
Crayzle leaves Justus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Justus shoots and misses

and Crayzle counters with a series of strikes that sends Justus to the canvas! Crayzle follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!


Justus is rocked!
Jason Crayzle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Justus.
Crayzle passes Justus's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Justus is still in real trouble! Can Crayzle finish him?

Crayzle decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Justus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up. King Justus was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Justus shoots in for a double leg but Crayzle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Justus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crayzle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Justus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
