Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lolly Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Belfort's choice of entrance music: Things just arent the same. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pop swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Pop lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Belfort misses with a body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Belfort, right into the meat.
Belfort lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pop lands a nice leg kick that just misses Belfort's sensitive parts.
A lazy left from Pop finds it's target.
Belfort connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Good work by Pop as he checks the leg kick.
The fighters circling - Belfort throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Pop slips under a jab.
Lolly Pop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pop takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A clash of legs there as Belfort blocks the low kick.
Pop fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Belfort avoids it really well and circles away.

Pop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Belfort.
Pop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Pop throws an off balance right hand
letting Belfort counter with a right hand.
Pop lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Vitor Belfort has been cut.
Pop fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belfort.
Pop checks a leg kick nicely.
Belfort tries to work over Pop's front leg with a kick but Pop checks it.
A big left from Belfort misses.
Pop lands a head kick. Belfort smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pop throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Belfort on the side of the head.

enabling Belfort to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pop rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Belfort throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Belfort cracks Pop with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pop throws a poor cross that misses
and Belfort cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
An inside leg kick lands from Belfort.
Pop scores a takedown into full mount!
Pop is breathing heavily.
Pop lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Belfort is rocked!
Pop drops a big elbow. That's hurt Belfort! More shots from Pop and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
