The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young misses with a hook
and Hewitt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Young with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hewitt to score with a decent uppercut.
Young throws a hook but Hewitt blocks it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hewitt. Young shrugs it off though.
Young throws a left and a right that both miss
and Young takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Connor Young has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Young throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hewitt counters with a thumping low kick.
Young looks to throw a body kick
and Hewitt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Young thinking.
Young is breathing heavily.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Hewitt throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Young is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
