Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Killa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killa comes to the cage accompanied by Shook ones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for Killa on that attempt.
Killa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killa swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Killa.
Killa tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.
Smith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big left from Killa misses.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith throws a leg kick but Killa checks it.
Kris Killa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killa misses with a wild body shot.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Killa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith throws a leg kick which misses Killa's front leg but catches the back leg as Killa tries to avoid it.

Killa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Killa wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy.
Killa tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Killa has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Killa throws a strike aimed at the side of Smith's head but Smith avoids it well.
Smith is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Killa off and has taken his back!

Smith controlling the position well here. Killa rolled but Smith kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Killa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Killa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Killa working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Smith turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Killa off and cradles Smith's limp body as Killa celebrates with his corner.
