Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randjob Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randjob Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Rae! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rae scores with a jab to the head.
Rae moves forwards but Gracie connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rae throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Gracie jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gracie catches Rae with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Rae throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rae counters with a body kick. Gracie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rae back to the cage. Gracie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A combination from Gracie does no damage. Rae slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gracie misses with a body shot
and Rae counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rae moves away from the strike by Gracie. Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rae. Rae throws a body kick that misses. Rae lands a glancing blow to the side of Gracie's head. Rae rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie counters with a straight right hand. Gracie tests Rae's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gracie throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie with a jab. Rae pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jab by Rae. Rae has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Rae misses with a kick to the body and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard. Rae working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Gracie has passed into half guard!

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rae has managed to free his arm - good work. Rae wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rae actively working from the bottom here. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rae is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Rae is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rae looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rae is trying to control but can't.
Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Rae is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Rae defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rae trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
Rae works his way to full guard. Good work. Rae tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rae is keeping the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randjob Gracie dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rae rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Rae fights it but they end up in guard. Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Rae slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard. Rae throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Rae wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie controls Rae momentarily but Rae frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rae thows a big elbow that misses. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rae passes into half guard. Rae is looking for a kimura but Gracie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rae to get the leverage. Rae is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie keeping full guard, as Rae tries to pass. Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rae is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rae has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
