PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Satriani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Czolgosz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satriani comes into the arena with Satch Boogie blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satriani throws a looping overhand right but Czolgosz ducks down to avoid it.

Czolgosz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Satriani manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Czolgosz has Satriani in his guard.

Satriani throws a hook to the side of Czolgosz's head but Czolgosz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Czolgosz goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Satriani turns into him and now he's in Czolgosz's guard.

Satriani is pressed up against the cage. Czolgosz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Satriani down to the mat. Satriani avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Leon Czolgosz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Czolgosz is looking to sinch up a triangle. Satriani throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Czolgosz's body to avoid the submission. Czolgosz has instead reached around Satriani's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Czolgosz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
