Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran comes to the cage accompanied by Immortale Technique - Death March. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanton misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Duran to counter with a crisp jab.
Hanton throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Duran counter with a right hand.
Hanton throws a lazy uppercut
and Duran connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hanton swings widly with a right hand
and Duran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Mark Hanton has been cut.

Duran jabs Hanton right on the nose. Hanton blinks but takes it well.

Duran lands with a hook. Hanton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Duran counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Duran thuds a left hand into Hanton's body.

Hanton falls off balance throwing a combination
and Duran counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hanton thinking.
Duran lands a head shot.
Hanton throws a predictable looking body shot
and Duran counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duran gets the takedown into side control.
Duran thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Duran is trying to get an arm triangle but Hanton is defending well.

Duran has hold of Hanton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hanton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Duran cranks the arm and Hanton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hanton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mike Duran!
