I think Foster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ruff Ryders Anthem-DMX. McGregor has chosen Bloc Party - Flux as his entrance music. Jamie Foster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor shoots for a takedown but Foster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Foster slips a straight right by McGregor.
McGregor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foster but Foster pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and McGregor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

McGregor is looking for a kimura but Foster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGregor to get the leverage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGregor is trying to control the action in half guard but Foster is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
McGregor wants to advance to full mount but Foster doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
