Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huima Sisu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lambert's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Prodigy - Smack my bitch Up . Huima Sisu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cody Lambert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Huima Sisu!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sisu slips a straight right by Lambert.

Sisu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sisu showed some decent athleticism there.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sisu in particular looking to stall.

Sisu is working for a submission of some sort.

Sisu is looking to take a break and control but Lambert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lambert is defending against the submission attempts here by Sisu.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sisu is looking for a kimura but Lambert is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sisu to get the leverage.
Sisu wants to take a breather but Lambert is having none of it.
Lambert pushes Sisu off looking to stand but Sisu dives back in and keeps control.
Sisu stalling away here and it's allowed Lambert to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Lambert knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sisu on the ground.

Lambert wants to stand but Sisu is controlling the position.
Sisu wants to pass the guard but Lambert is keeping the position.
Sisu looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sisu trying to control but Lambert is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sisu is defended easily by Lambert.
Sisu misses with a takedown attempt - Lambert sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lambert thows a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sisu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sisu lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sisu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sisu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Sisu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Let's hope that Sisu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sisu trying to control but Lambert is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lambert wants to get back to his feet but Sisu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Huima Sisu.
Lambert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sisu closes the distance and clinches up with Lambert, looking for a takedown. Sisu pushes Lambert against the cage but Lambert circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cody Lambert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huima Sisu.
Sisu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lambert checks it well.
Lambert leaves Sisu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sisu trying to control the position but Lambert is working away.

Sisu laying and praying for a moment but Lambert takes advantage and regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sisu content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Huima Sisu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lambert takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sisu shoots in for a takedown but Lambert shows good takedown defense.
Lambert throws the left hand but Sisu avoids the punch easily.
Sisu shoots in for a double leg but Lambert sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sloppy strikes from Lambert. Those never looked like landing.
Sisu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cody Lambert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huima Sisu.

Lambert throws an overhand right that lands on Sisu's shoulder, as Sisu tries to avoid the shot.
Lambert leaves Sisu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lambert keeps the fight on the outside.
Sisu has a takedown stuffed.
Sisu ducks under a wild hook from Lambert.

Lambert avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lambert throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lambert. Sisu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lambert tests Sisu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sisu fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lambert slaps away a takedown attempt from Sisu, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sisu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sisu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lambert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sisu tries for a takedown but Lambert sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sisu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lambert's waist but Lambert gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sisu off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sisu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lambert is fending him off so far but Sisu persists. Nope, Lambert circles away and we're back to standing.
Sisu moves out of range of the strikes.
Sisu shoots in looking for a takedown but Lambert manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sisu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lambert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cody Lambert has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lambert stuffs the takedown attempt from Sisu. Sisu gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lambert misses the shot to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cody Lambert.
I think Sisu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
