Donnell throws an overhand right that lands on Maia's shoulder, as Maia tries to avoid the shot.
Donnell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Donnell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maia doesn't seem bothered though.
Donnell throws a right hand that Maia ducks under and follows up with a left that Maia also avoids with ease.
Donnell walks into a left hand.
Donnell tries to clinch up but Maia circles away and keeps his distance.
Maia stalks Donnell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Donnell's face. Donnell staggers backwards, shaken.
Donnell fails with a takedown attempt.
Maia bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Donnell's head.
Donnell wants to clinch.
Maia scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maia looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Donnell misses with a right hand
and Maia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Maia throws a nice looking combination but Donnell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maia scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Julian Donnell has been cut.
Maia lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Maia misses with a low kick.
Maia jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Donnell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Maia counters with a nice uppercut.

Maia cracks Donnell with an uppercut from hell and Donnell crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Maia's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Donnell is rocked!
Maia tries to free his leg and advance position but Donnell is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Donnell is still in real trouble! Can Maia finish him?
Maia distracts Donnell with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Maia lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Maia passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Maia landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The crowd goes nuts as Maia knocks Donnell out cold with a massive hammerfist! Maia Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
