The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts walks into a jab.

Roberts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Posey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roberts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roberts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roberts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Posey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Posey looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Roberts drops back looking for a leg! Posey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Posey manages to kick Roberts off! Roberts jumps back into Posey's guard.

Posey wants to stand and escape but Roberts is having none of it.

Posey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Roberts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Roberts is breathing heavily.
Posey thows a body shot but no joy.
Roberts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Posey lands a nice shot to the body.

Posey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Roberts!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Posey has hold of Roberts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Roberts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The referee warns Roberts that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like TJ Roberts has been cut.
Posey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh Roberts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
