Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into the arena with Go To Sleep Bitch blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying III's choice of entrance music: IRON MAIDEN : Alexander the Great . This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander III!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
III throws a right hand that misses

and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in III's guard.
Jacksonis looking to pass into half guard but III pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now III is in guard.
III looking to pass the guard.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as III controls the pace.
III wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
III trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
III wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Jackson keeping full guard, as III tries to pass.
III thows a big elbow that misses.
Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Jackson is working an open guard so III takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
III misses with a lunging right hand

and Jackson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for III!
Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
III is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
III is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
III is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackson wants to control the pace but III is squirming around nicely.
III regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curtis Jackson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jackson scores with a kick to the body.
III throws a right hand that misses
and Jackson counters with a thumping low kick.
Jackson throws a head kick but III moves out of range.
III misses with a jab, cross combination.
Decent striking displayed by III there.
III stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
III throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jackson motions for III to come forward. Jackson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jackson is looking to land body kicks.
III throws an off balance right hand
and Jackson counters with a big head kick but III shrugs it off.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jackson.
Jackson misses with a head kick.
III blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Jackson feints a jab promting III to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. III slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
III scores with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

III fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jackson on the side of the head.


Jackson is rocked!
III lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jackson falls backwards - clearly groggy! III dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander III!
