Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Suvorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suvorov has chosen World in Conflict - Polyushko-Pole. as his entrance music. Alexandr Suvorov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Burgess!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexandr Suvorov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suvorov throws a body punch but Burgess moves out of range.

Suvorov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burgess looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Burgess tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Suvorov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Burgess tries to lock up and control but Suvorov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Burgess is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Burgess has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Suvorov's face.

That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Burgess will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suvorov connects with a nice short shot to Burgess's temple.

Suvorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burgess has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Suvorov has managed to get both his arms back between Burgess's legs - danger averted.

Alexandr Suvorov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Burgess's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
