Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kcee Cadwallader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Neder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kcee Cadwallader has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neder gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cadwallader to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cadwallader wants to stand but Neder has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Neder can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cadwallader cracks Neder with a solid left hand.
Cadwallader trying to control the position from guard on top but Neder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neder looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kcee Cadwallader.
Cadwallader fails with the takedown

and Neder counters with a single leg into guard. Cadwallader didn't expect that.

Cadwallader pushes Neder off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Neder drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cadwallader pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kcee Cadwallader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Neder.

Cadwallader tries to clinch but Neder moves away

and Neder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Neder throws a strike but Cadwallader rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Neder wants to sweep here but Cadwallader controlling him for the moment.
Neder doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Neder can't keep his opponent in guard - Cadwallader advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Cadwallader has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cadwallader postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Neder looks a forlorn figure.

Cadwallader stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Neder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cadwallader won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neder throws and elbow that misses. Cadwallader uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Neder's guard. Nice move by Cadwallader!
Cadwallader slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Neder tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cadwallader wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cadwallader has an Americana. Neder didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cadwallader is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cadwallader hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
