Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Dupont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Benjamin Knox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Benjamin Knox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupont closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knox to the mat! Knox manages to get full guard.
Dupont trying to control the position from guard on top but Knox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Knox has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dupont can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dupont avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Knox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dupont gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dupont blocks the strikes from Knox.
Knox flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Knox tries to roll over but Dupont keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dupont shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dupont jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Knox manages to avoid the submission attempt.
