Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandros Althea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Burkshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burkshire comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's a Fight - Three 6 Mafia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alexandros Althea had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Nigel Burkshire has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burkshire scores with a decent looking hook.
Burkshire darts in and clinches Althea up against the cage.
Burkshire working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Burkshire creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Burkshire stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Burkshire has clasped his hands together around Althea's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Althea might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Althea wants to control but Burkshire postures up.
Burkshire misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Burkshire lands some shots froms side control.
Burkshire looks up at the clock and then as Althea takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Burkshire smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burkshire swings around for an armbar but Althea sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Burkshire's guard.
Burkshire keeping moving, preventing Althea from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burkshire has control of Althea's left arm, preventing Althea from doing any damage.
Burkshire working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Althea doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Burkshire is tightening it up a little... Althea has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Althea reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Althea taps out! nice BJJ there by Burkshire!
