The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a body shot.
Slice scores with a sloppy right hand. Calypso should have avoided that one.
Calypso needs to keep his hands up - Slice had a free shot at his head there.
Calypso misses with a head kick.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Calypso has his takedown stuffed
and Slice counters with a nice body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Slice feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Calypso sprawling to the canvas! Calypso rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Slice finish him?!
Calypso is rocked!
Slice batters Calypso with a massive right followed by a huge left! Calypso is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Slice lands a final crushing right hand to drop Calypso to the mat with a gruesome thud! Slice is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kimbo Slice!
