PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fuller might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Breathe Dubstep. Silva has chosen The Call Of Ktulu as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Marc Fuller has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marc Fuller seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Fuller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fuller somewhat.

Silva drives through and clinches with Fuller against the cage.
Silva looking to throw knees to the head but Fuller is blocking nicely.

Fuller ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fuller no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Fuller is keeping the position.
Fuller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Fuller is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Silva tries to lock up and control but Fuller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fuller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Fuller working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Silva turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fuller off and cradles Silva's limp body as Fuller celebrates with his corner.
