Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerry Ferro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jong Man Kim!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kim looks to clinch
and Ferro counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ferro shoots and misses

and Kim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ferro keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
Kim trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ferro's guard.
Ferro trying to control the position.
Kim throws a strike but Ferro rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ferro won't allow Kim to sweep him here.

Ferro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ferro with a nice head shot there.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ferro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ferro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ferro, into his guard.

Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kim postures up.
Kim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ferro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kim is one step ahead there.

Ferro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kim should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ferro has tightened it up now! Kim should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
