Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sub KO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furio Falcone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KO doesn't succeed with the takedown
and KO takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
KO with a lazy takedown attempt
and Falcone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
KO shoots and misses
enabling Falcone to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub KO. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Falcone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Falcone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Falcone breaks the clinch.

Falcone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Falcone wants to stand but KO is controlling the position.
KO thows a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
KO tries to free his leg and advance position but Falcone is retaining full guard.
KO stops Falcone from standing up.
KO wants to control from the top but Falcone keeps moving.
Falcone wants to sweep here but KO controlling him for the moment.

KO stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Falcone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
KO trying to control the position from guard on top but Falcone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We're going to have a standup here because Sub KO wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
KO has his takedown stuffed
and Falcone counters with a one-two to the body.
KO shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Falcone counters with an outside leg kick.

Falcone forces KO back against the cage and clinches.

Falcone manages to break the clinch.
KO misses with a takedown attempt
and Falcone counters with a nice low kick that buckles KO's knee momentarily.
KO is breathing heavily.

and Falcone counters with a good low kick that KO was not able to check.
Falcone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and KO counters with a single leg into guard. Falcone didn't expect that.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

KO has gone for a leg lock! Falcone slips out almost immediately though and dives into KO's guard.

Falcone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but KO has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Falcone is looking to defend but KO has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Falcone! KO pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Falcone taps out and this one is all over!
