The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes lands a really nice looking cross but Garcia seems unphased.
Shane Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia checks a leg kick nicely.
Garcia feints and then cracks Barnes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barnes down.
Barnes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Shane Garcia has been cut.
Barnes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Garcia looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Garcia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Garcia stands up from Barnes's guard - Garcia perhaps looking for a knockout.
Barnes looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A lazy left from Barnes finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Garcia on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Good leg kick by Barnes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barnes lands with an uppercut that bounces Garcia off the cage and back into rage.
Barnes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Barnes moves in looking to clinch but Garcia pushes him off.
Barnes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Barnes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garcia stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Garcia looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garcia is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Barnes.
Barnes scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Garcia doesn't seem bothered though.
Barnes lands with a right that hurts Garcia. Garcia looks to clinch but Barnes throws a short knee that drops Garcia. This one is all over!
