The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyle throws a right hand that Beer ducks under and follows up with a left that Beer also avoids with ease.
Boyle thows a left - swing and a miss!
Beer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Boyle throws a series of punches but Beer moves out of range.
Beer lands a jab to the head.
Beer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Boyle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Beer slips under a jab from Boyle.
Beer throws a hook but Boyle blocks it.
Beer misses with a few strikes there.
Boyle thows a body shot but no joy.
Boyle throws a chopping leg kick but Beer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Boyle tries to bum rush Beer with a series of wild strikes but Beer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beer throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Boyle counter with a right hand.
Boyle pivots, looking for a leg kick but Beer is out of range and Boyle settles back down.
Beer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Beer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Beer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beer misses with a double jab
and Boyle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Beer swats away the attempt to clinch by Boyle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beer. Boyle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dave Boyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beer throws a lazy right hand but Boyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Beer checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Beer scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Boyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Beer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boyle.
Beer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Beer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boyle tries to clinch there but Beer circles away.
Beer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boyle finds it's way round the side to connect with Beer's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Boyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Beer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boyle backs up against the cage.
