Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rauno Tonts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers has chosen Ted Nugent's Stranglehold as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rauno Tonts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Rogers! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tonts tries to clinch but Rogers is having none of it. Tonts closes the distance and clinches. Tonts gets through Rogers's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Tonts is stalling here.
Rogers can't get the takedown.
Tonts lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Tonts manages to break the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tonts looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tonts tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rogers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tonts enables Rogers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tonts manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Rogers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rogers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tonts is looking to stand up but Rogers isn't so interested in that idea. That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tonts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rogers is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tonts wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rogers manages to pass to side control. Tonts looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rogers is looking for a kimura here.
Tonts tries to kick Rogers off but Rogers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rogers is looking for a kimura but Tonts is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rogers to get the leverage. Rogers has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tonts defend it? Rogers steps over the head and cranks it - Tonts is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rogers!
