Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coco Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier comes to the cage accompanied by Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says. Nutz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Afrika Bambaataa - Feel The Wibe. The key to victory for Corey Cormier has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Coco Nutz!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cormier is fending him off so far but Nutz persists. Nope, Cormier circles away and we're back to standing.
Nutz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Nutz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nutz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nutz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cormier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nutz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Corey Cormier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coco Nutz.
Cormier tries to bum rush Nutz with a series of wild strikes but Nutz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown by Nutz or perhaps it was just good defense by Cormier which made him look bad.
Cormier clobbers Nutz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nutz is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cormier lands with a right and another and another! Nutz is in big trouble! Cormier lands again and this time it's lights out for Nutz! A quality knockout there for Cormier.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Corey Cormier!
