Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Asgeir Borgermoen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Venture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venture has chosen "Uh Huh" by Method Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgermoen shoots in looking for a takedown. Venture tries to sprawl out of it but Borgermoen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Venture manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Venture throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

so Borgermoen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Borgermoen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Venture has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borgermoen has managed to get both his arms back between Venture's legs - danger averted.

Venture drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Venture jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Venture misses with a takedown

and Borgermoen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
