Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miroslav Olipko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Thorton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olipko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Olipko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Thorton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Olipko misses with a head shot.

Olipko with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Olipko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Olipko goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Thorton is on top in guard.

Olipko is looking for a triangle but Thorton pushes his legs off easily.

Thorton drops back looking for a leg! Olipko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Olipko manages to kick Thorton off! Thorton jumps back into Olipko's guard.

Olipko takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Olipko manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Thorton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Thorton is trying to control the action in half guard but Olipko is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Olipko is looking to control Thorton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Olipko avoid being mounted?

Olipko is pressing down on Thorton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Thorton advances to half guard.
Thorton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Thorton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Olipko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Thorton lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Olipko is looking to improve his position.
Olipko regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Thorton.

Thorton is posturing up here but Olipko has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Thorton tries to roll out but it's too tight and Thorton has to tap! Slick submission there by Olipko!
