These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herrera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Norris, pushing him back against the cage.

Herrera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Norris closes the distance looking to clinch

and Herrera counters with a single leg into guard. Norris didn't expect that.

Norris is looking for a triangle but Herrera pushes his legs off easily.
Norris is trying to control the position but Herrera postures up.
Herrera slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Herrera maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Norris could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Herrera has cracked it and Norris is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Herrera!
