PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between jason mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agapito Hampaslupa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think mills might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to sweet shop. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mills avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hampaslupa closes this distance looking for a takedown but mills circles away.
Hampaslupa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says mills as he avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from mills. Those never looked like landing.

Hampaslupa wants to stand but mills has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
mills is looking to stand up but Hampaslupa isn't so interested in that idea.

mills has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hampaslupa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hampaslupa is keen to just control but mills is a slippery customer.

and mills decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hampaslupa's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
