Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hans fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hans has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hans lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hans is pressed up against the cage. Pickett has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hans down to the mat. Hans avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pickett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pickett misses with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Pickett as Hans shoots in.
Pickett tries to close the distance and clinch but Hans swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pickett stuffs the takedown attempt from Hans. Hans gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Hans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hans chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pickett can pounce on him.
Pickett throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hans fails with a takedown attempt.
Pickett cracks Hans with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Gerald Hans has been cut.
Hans shoots for a double leg takedown but Pickett sprawls well. He's pushed Hans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hans is breathing heavily.
Pickett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pickett tries a head kick but it misses.
Pickett lands with a big left! Hans is wobbled badly! Pickett comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Hans to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
