Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Hugh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hattori Hanzo!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hugh takes the fight into the clinch.

Hugh has Hanzo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hugh pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hanzo tumbling to the mat - Hugh dives into Hanzo's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanzo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hugh passes into half guard.
Well, if Hugh is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hanzo wants to improve his position but Hugh is controlling well.
Hugh could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hugh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hanzo is trying to stand back up but Hugh is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hugh tries to pass to full mount but Hanzo defends it.
Hanzo is looking for a sweep. Hugh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hanzo throws a series of strikes that have Hugh backpedaling.

Hugh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hugh drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hugh seems to have locked his on tight now - Hanzo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hugh, as he picks up the win!
