Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Gregorovitsj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Berger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregorovitsj's entrance music is Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - Culture Club. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregorovitsj throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gregorovitsj slips a jab from Berger.
Gregorovitsj misses the shot to the body.
Berger moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Berger tries to close the distance and clinch but Gregorovitsj swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Berger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gregorovitsj sprawls well initially but Berger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Berger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gregorovitsj is just riding it out for now. Berger eventually gives up the hold.
Berger wants to stand up but Gregorovitsj has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Berger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gregorovitsj defends it well.
Berger is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Gregorovitsj on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gregorovitsj tries to get out of the position.

Gregorovitsj throws a leg kick which misses Berger's front leg but catches the back leg as Berger tries to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Berger is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gregorovitsj doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Berger.

Berger shoots for a double leg takedown but Gregorovitsj sprawls well. He's pushed Berger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Berger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Berger is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gregorovitsj reverses the position - he's now on top in Berger's guard.

Berger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gregorovitsj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gregorovitsj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Berger has a hand on Gregorovitsj's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Gregorovitsj takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Berger tries to lock up and control but Gregorovitsj gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
You get the feeling that Berger really doesn't like being in this position too much.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vasili Gregorovitsj will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Berger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gregorovitsj tries to avoid it but Berger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gregorovitsj to the ground. Gregorovitsj escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Berger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gregorovitsj is fending him off so far but Berger persists. Nope, Gregorovitsj circles away and we're back to standing.

Berger uses his free foot to push down on Gregorovitsj's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gregorovitsj.

Berger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Berger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Berger goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gregorovitsj turns into him and now he's in Berger's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vasili Gregorovitsj.
I think Gregorovitsj has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
