The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lando fails with the takedown

and Robinson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robinson.
Robinson wants to pass the guard but Lando is keeping the position.

Lando can't keep his opponent in guard - Robinson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

and Robinson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lando!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lando can do anything to dispel that myth.

Robinson moves to back control.

Robinson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lando knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lando for a finish.

Robinson is looking for the choke from the back position but Lando is controlling his hands well.

Robinson misses with a takedown

and Lando counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lando wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving.

Robinson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lando defends it easily.

Lando is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Robinson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Lando is forced to tap!
