Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mbele gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mbele dodges an elbow strike from Ottesen.
Ottesen lands an elbow inside.
Ottesen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ottesen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mbele backwards.
Ottesen drags the fight down to the ground.
Mbele pushing down on Ottesen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mbele will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mbele connects with a nice short shot to Ottesen's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ottesen scores with a jab to the body.

Mbele really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Mbele counters with a shoot takedown. Ottesen fights it but they end up in guard.

Mbele is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mbele accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mbele lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Mbele thows a big elbow that misses.

Mbele is pushing down on Ottesen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ottesen is fighting to maintain full guard but Mbele has managed to sneak the leg through.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
A head kick by Ottesen - that's a beauty! Mbele is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ottesen can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Darth Ottesen!
