Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Zaromskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaromskis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 5FDP-Meet the monster. Wanderlei Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marius Zaromskis's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaromskis clinches.

Zaromskis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Zaromskis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Silva tries to break free but Zaromskis pushes him back against the ropes.

Marius Zaromskis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zaromskis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva.
Zaromskis drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zaromskis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zaromskis on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva misses with an uppercut. Zaromskis saw that one coming.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Silva is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Silva fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zaromskis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Zaromskis forces Silva back against the ropes and clinches.

Zaromskis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zaromskis manages to end up in side control.

Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Zaromskis tries to stand but can't do so whilst Silva controls his leg.

Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zaromskis defends well.

Silva looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Zaromskis has picked Silva up and slammed him! Silva can't keep hold of the triangle and Zaromskis manages to pass to side control!

Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zaromskis's head backwards.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zaromskis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Zaromskis has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
