Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sting Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sting Steiner!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Parker throws a hook to the side of Steiner's head but Steiner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steiner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fighters circling - Steiner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Steiner throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steiner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Parker misses with a jab to the body
and Steiner counters with a nice body kick.
Parker doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Steiner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Steiner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Parker misses with an uppercut.
Steiner throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range.
Parker has his takedown stuffed
and Steiner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Steiner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Steiner looks to score with a jab to the body but Parker is just out of range.
Steiner throws a head kick that misses.
Parker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steiner.
Parker tries to clinch
and Steiner counters with a nice uppercut.
Parker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Parker with a lazy takedown attempt
and Steiner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steiner scores with a hook to the body. Parker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Parker is breathing heavily.

and Parker counters with a shoot takedown. Steiner fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Steiner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Parker, into his guard.
Steiner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker looking for a sweep. Not yet Parker, not yet.

Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steiner defends well.

Steiner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Parker, up you get!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parker throws a predictable looking body shot
and Steiner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Steiner cracks Parker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Steiner lunges at Parker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Parker's hand.
Steiner throws a chopping leg kick but Parker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Parker dips to his left and cracks Steiner with an uppercut!
Steiner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steiner is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Parker had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Steiner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parker tries for a takedown but Steiner circles away easily
and Steiner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Steiner. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sting Steiner dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Steiner counters with a nice body shot.
Steiner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A jab lands there for Steiner.
A swing and a miss from Steiner.
Parker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Steiner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good shot there by Steiner.
Steiner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Parker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steiner avoids the head kick by Parker.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Steiner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parker manages to get himself to full guard.

Parker is working an open guard so Steiner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Steiner fails to land with a series of punches.
Parker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Parker looks to throw the jab but Steiner is out of range.
Steiner connects with a body shot that sends Parker's belly button to the back.
Steiner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Parker with a poor takedown
and Steiner counters with a nice body kick.
Parker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sting Steiner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steiner.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steiner scores with a hook.
Steiner feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Parker's calf.
Parker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Steiner lands a really nice looking cross but Parker seems unphased.
Parker tries to move into range but Steiner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


Parker is rocked!
Sting Steiner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Parker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A chopping leg kick lands by Steiner.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Parker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Steiner - the referee stops the clock and Parker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Steiner. Parker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Parker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Steiner. That one must have hurt.
Travis Parker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steiner lands a big head kick that sends Parker to the canvas! Steiner follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sting Steiner!
