Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Crushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Richter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crushkin comes into the arena with Arcturus - Ad Absurdum blaring out of the sound system. John Richter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nikolai Crushkin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Crushkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, John Richter!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crushkin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Richter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crushkin's guard.
Richter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Richter trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Crushkin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Crushkin scoring with punches to the head and body.
Crushkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Richter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Richter has escaped and now he's on top!
Richter works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Crushkin won't allow Richter to pass to mount.
Crushkin trying to hold on to Richter's head to control him but Richter postures up.
Richter is looking to advance position but Crushkin won't allow it.
Richter drops an elbow to the side of Crushkin's head.
Richter stalling.
Richter passes to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Richter working for a guillotine from mount but Crushkin is in no mood to give up.
Crushkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richter on the ground.
Crushkin is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Richter has taken his back.
Richter is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Crushkin won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Richter off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Richter!
