And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tonichie Hong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nelson gets the takedown into side control.
Hong is trying to escape the position but Nelson is controlling the position.
Hong is trying to control Nelson's posture but Nelson avoids it.
Hong is not content to let Nelson control the position.
Hong dodges the ground and pound from Nelson.
Hong is letting Nelson control him for a moment.
Hong is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nelson happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

DJ Nelson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nelson.
Tonichie Hong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nelson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nelson was well out of range. Poor timing from Hong.
Nelson wants to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nelson is defended easily by Hong.
Hong swings for the body but Nelson moves out of range.
Hong lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nelson's sensitive parts.
Hong checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nelson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Hong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nelson's calf.
Hong scoring well with a low kick there.
Nelson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nelson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hong cracks a nice hook into Nelson's ribs.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Nelson tries to bum rush Hong with a series of wild strikes but Hong uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nelson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hong. Hong obviously looking to wear him down.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hong.
Hong lands a nice hook to Nelson's body. Nelson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hong lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hong is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nelson rather than just go for the knockout.
Hong throws a shot to the body.

Nelson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hong lands a right hand from hell, dropping Nelson. Hong pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
